Dell has a chip built in the computer and won't accept anything but a DELL battery. This will not work in my Dell. It is seeded fine, but won't charge. Disappointed. Once we read up on it, we found out the chip issue. Wish we would have known before we bought it.

My HP laptop would not boot after a battery warning. I ordered this battery and received it next day. The following day, I had the battery installed. All was good again. I have not yet tested battery run time. I’m completely satisfied with this purchase.
